Follow along with our current trip or explore past adventures. Our blog title is a bastardized portmanteau of our family name, Farnsworth, and Dolce Far Niente, Italian for “The sweet art of doing nothing”. So this is us getting very accomplished at wasting our time having fun.

- Falling for Montmorency FallsAfter a lazy morning and lunch we walked below the city walls then climbed 395 up to Plains of Abraham and Citadel. We wanted to spew time looking around but had to scoot back to our hotel to meet up with our private tour guide. He drove us out to the beautiful Montmorency Falls for a walk to falls base then drive to suspension bridge over top (Scott opted to walk up 487 more stairs). Next was Orleans Island which is three times the size of Manhattan but only has one gas station, one stop light and 7000 people, we made stops and a Chocolate shop, a market for locally grown produce and at a sugar shack for a maple syrup tasting.
